Field facts

The Njord area combines three partner-operated fields where we have interests – Njord, Hyme and Bauge.

A redevelopment programme is currently underway to allow for extensive improvements to the semi-submersible Njord-A platform and the Njord Bravo storage vessel. On completion, eight wells will reopen and ten new ones will be drilled. The upgrades to the Njord A platform will allow it to accept gas from the nearby Bauge and Fenja fields.

Production will recommence in 2020. The fields are expected to remain productive until 2040.
