Field facts

The Dutch regulator awarded the D12-A production licence in 1996. Within two years of field discovery in 2002, the D12-A satellite platform was installed.   First gas followed in 2005.

This gas-producing satellite platform produces up to 1,200Nm3 of gas daily via a 10km sea-line to the Neptune-operated D15-A platform. D15-A also powers operations on D12-A via an umbilical.

Produced gas is exported through the Noordgastransport offshore pipeline to its processing location in Uithuizen where it is treated before being added to the Dutch national gas transportation network.
